Task Force On Electronic Child Support Payments

I. Objective

• To educate the employees of the State Disbursement Units and Employers on ACH Rules and CTX Implementation
• Promote the use of the ACH for the collection, disbursement and state-to-state exchange of Electronic Child Support Payments
• Identify outstanding issues regarding Electronic Child Support Payments  and co-ordinate their resolution with other areas within NACHA or the EBT Council

II. Format

• Task force that is open to all interested parties (e.g. APHSA, SDU’s , vendors, financial institutions, OCSE)
• Majority of the business will be conducted via conference calls

III. Initial Deliverables

• Develop a training class for SDU employees and vendors on the ACH Rules that can be delivered on a regional basis
• Develop an ANSI ASC 820/CTX Implementation Guide
• Develop an Electronic Child Support Payments Web Page
